Destiny likes to show it’s sense of humor sometimes and show up when you least expect it.
Katie wasn’t one to try out the online dating site thing but after a friend suggested it, she thought it wouldn’t hurt to give it the ol’ 30-day-free-trial shot. After a few “interesting dates” Katie was ready to pull the plug. She logged on to look at her site one last time and a certain profile caught her eye. The profile in Katie’s own words, ” was handsome guy hugging his adorable Great Dane named Dafney and multiple photographs of his family”. Being that family is something Katie holds as a priority in her life too, she thought maybe this was something they already had in common. After thinking about it for a second and sent him a “wink”.
That “wink” turned into a few emails, which later turned into a dinner, then a movie and a walk around Ballast Park. One year later at that same park, Kenny hiding a ring in his pocket, took Katie for a walk again. Only this time he had a very important question to ask her.

Spending the day with Katie and Kenny really allowed us to see the amazing couple they are together. The love they share for each other and each other’s families is a joy to be around. They are the kind of couple that know how to laugh and make you feel so welcomed. And these two know how to have fun too! We laughed so much with them that day that our cheeks hurt! We were SO happy to share their special day with them and their sweet friends and family.
