There are many things that a couple plans for when they plan for their wedding day: The location, the decor and of course the family and friends who will join them…For most though, a category 4 hurricane being part of that day is not what most have in mind when they think of their best day ever! This was the situation that Taylor and Daryl found themselves in, when hurricane “Matthew” was making his way to Florida a few weeks ago.

Taylor and Daryl had planned for an amazing wedding at the gorgeous Bella Collina, but as the days grew closer it became clear that this hurricane would hit Orlando the same day as their wedding was being held. They had only a few options to panic and let this ruin their happy celebration or to make the best of a less than ideal situation…

As I drove towards Orlando the day most of the city was evacuating, I thought to myself that I may find Taylor in a pool of tears when I arrived, but to my surprise I found a happy…actually glowing happy bride who was just having the time of her life! I was truly in awe of the way both Taylor and Daryl reacted! They had decided that nothing was going to ruin the day they had planned. Sure a few things had to change but at the end of the day, they were going to be husband and wife…and they would be together. They realized that after all, that was thing that mattered most. Incredibly, Mother Nature even gave us a tiny window of no rain just in time some outdoor portrait time! And these two rocked every second of it!!!

I was so happy to be able to share with them such a beautiful and memorable day. Taylor and Daryl you guys are rock stars and I was honored to be a part of your amazing day!! Congratulations again guys!
