Best kisses come with a loud “muuaa” smacking sound from a mouth that just had chocolate or a melting Popsicle. They are straight from the heart and so I never turn away from the messy, sweet kiss. They are the ones that take you by surprise when you are reading a book together- on your cheek or your shoulder- whichever is closest to his reach. They say ” I love you momma” so much louder than his words ever could. *** Best kisses are the open mouth ones from the littlest mouth who hasn’t learned how to pucker her lips together to actually kiss yet. They grab your face with both hands, plop one on you and leave you with a big cheesy smile. They are nothing but pure sweetness and they melt your heart. every. single. time. *** Best kisses are the ones that sneak up behind you- when you are washing dishes in your house sweats and come with nuzzle in your ear to say “Hi Beautiful”. They are the ones that say goodnight, it’s been a long day for both of us but there’s no one I rather come home to but you. It’s the sweet ones on your temple that console you after a rough day or the big ones that you get when you celebrate a happy moment only you two would understand. It’s the ones that remind us that together we can do anything.***
