I can’t believe my baby brother is having a baby! It feels like just yesterday we were fighting over the remote and who’s turn it was to control it!  He wanted to watch Transformers and I wanted to watch Jem…I mean how can you NOT want to watch Jem?! Usually we would find a way to work it out..or I would just beat him up- whatever worked best…LOL 😉

As kids, we made blanket forts together, played hide-and-seek till exhaustion, told on each other to our parents and stood up for each other just the same.  But besides our childhood spats over cartoons or as teenagers – the home phone!- we have always been great friends….He’s always been there for me, backed me up, sneaked me into the house after curfew, protected me (especially when he got bigger than me and I couldn’t beat him up anymore) and he knows I would do the same for him.

I have the best brother…he’s the kind of guy you are lucky to call your friend and he really met his match when he met my amazing sister-in-law. Not only is my sister-in-law Stephanie, beautiful and smart, she also finds Erick’s jokes funny! – match made in heaven I tell you!  Together they are one of the funniest, kindest and loving couples out there. They are true teammates and are madly in love with each other…And now they will share in one life’s biggest and grandest adventures- parenthood. I’m so excited for them! My sure-to-be-gorgeous nephew will be be loved and raised by two of the best.
