I’m always harassing my husband for pictures. Even when he’s not super stoked about them, he usually agrees because 1. he must really, really love me  2. he knows I won’t stop asking until I get one  3. it was in our vows : “to have and to hold…and pose for pictures anytime your wife wants”.

He’s made good on his commitment- on vacation, on special holidays, on wedding days he serves as my light-checker-model, selfies on any particular occasion, photobooths with the kids, you name it, I’ve made him pose for it. He’s done good in all those aspects expect one…pictures of himself. Anytime I asked, he would say “oh….maybe soon…uhhh well see…oohh look the kids made a mess! Gotta go!…” and life would take over and I would forget about it until the next time.

Then a few weeks ago, this lovely, amazing husband of mine had a birthday- so naturally I went to write his must have Facebook birthday post but couldn’t find a single current normal picture of him. Here I am, photographing other people’s loved ones all the time and I didn’t have 1 good picture of my own most loved one that wasn’t more than 6 years old! I gave in a posted one from our last vacation to Las Vegas with his old pal Dwayne “The Rock”  Johnson a million years ago  but decided I will somehow make this man sit in front of my camera before any more time passed.

My opportunity came when we went on a mini getaway trip to Orlando a few days later…I don’t know why he hesitated for so long because my man totally rocked it <3
