You guys! Kelly and Michael’s Palmetto Riverside wedding literally left me speechless. These two high school sweethearts have been together for almost 10 years. Their love for one another has quite honestly been, forever. In fact, one of the roses (see the yellow one rose pic below) was a rose Michael gave to Kelly on their FIRST date. It’s a forever rose! I had never heard of “forever roses” until I looked them up and these natural flowers can live forever. (yes, seriously)

Ah, just swooning over here ????

Palmetto Riverside, is a beautiful historical Bed & Breakfast that blends classic charm and splendor on the North Bank of the Manatee River. It’s the perfect location to tie the knot with an elegant riverside setting. A prime example of old world Floridian luxury, every direction you turn within this venue provides a touch of charm and appeal.

Kelly was glowing in her gorgeous, strapless bridal gown with her veil, cascading down the back of her neck. She had the most beautiful bouquet of flowers from Beneva. They were perfect for her spring wedding. Peonies, Ranunculus and of course that yellow forever rose. I was OBSESSED with them! Her handsome groom rocked his navy tux and blush tie. This sweet couple looked incredible!

You would never know it from the pictures, but there was a whole tornado just a few miles away. Fun fact: did you know rain on your wedding day is good luck? As you know, a knot that becomes wet is extremely hard to untie – therefore, when you “tie the knot” on a rainy day, your marriage is supposedly just as hard to unravel.

Planner Kelly – with Kelly Kennedy Weddings did an amazing job tying this Palmetto Riverside wedding together. And the decor was phenomenal. From the bright floral decor to the ceremony “concert” to the jenga blocks. Every last detail made this wedding perfect. The reception was also a hit with the wedding party dancing the night away, cuban cigars, champagne toasts- What a wonderful celebration!

Kelly and Michael: Forever. That’s you guys! A beautiful life together forever. Congratulations on your marriage. I wish you both a lifelong of happiness and love.
