If you saw my 35 for 35 list this year, you know I’ve been wanting to put together a styled shoot for a while now (a styled shoot is when wedding vendors work with each other to put a “themed” or “inspired” photoshoot together).
I had a few ideas on what I wanted to do, but to be honest, I didn’t know how to put it all together. This is when Sasha and her team of awesome planners come in. I contacted Oh So Classy events to work their magic and collaborate in making this goal a reality. I knew these ladies did an amazing job but boy did they knock it out of the park this time!
We collaborated with some of the most creative and awesome wedding vendors in the area to make our vision a reality. Let me tell you guys- putting a styled shoot together is a LOT of work, but with everyone’s hard work and dedication, Royal Blush Editorial came to fruition! Royal blush, playing off the words royal flush when playing cards, is inspired by the colors blush, navy and gold with a card theme…(Sasha explains it in detail below)
Today – we are so excited that wedding blog magazine “You mean the World to me” has published our styled shoot and we can finally share the images with you!
Below are a few words from the planner Sasha, with Oh So Classy Events, explaining the vision and inspiration for the shoot:

“This unique and fun wedding inspiration shoot with planning, details and styling conjured up from royal flush influences by Sasha at Oh So Classy Events, and gorgeous images from the very talented Ailyn La Torre Photography, who inspired the wonderfully balanced color palette of royal blue, blush pink and gold for this beauty. And so, the fun finesse of Royal Blush was born!
We decided on The Regent for its regal appeal and beautiful architecture. From the height and columns to the grand staircase, it was just meant to be! Our ceremony included delightful canvases inspired by this winning hand of cards and a thematic “all in” to focus in on the dedication and adventure that a beautiful marriage entails. These were brought to life perfectly by an amazing local Tampa artist and it was just such a lovely focal point to create!
We ran with our vision and the combined efforts of our amazing floral designer and stunning linen, as together we created two tablescape designs for just the right amount of added diversity. And we couldn’t get enough of our stationary, with a kingly wax seal to enclose our invitations and the option for guests to go “all in” or “fold” on their RSVP!
*The wedding party looked truly Royal as they reveled in the day on the prettiest of vintage lounges, with the bride wearing a gorgeous Esme by Ines Di Santo gown from the Isabel O’Neill Bridal Collection. Not to mention those gorgeous heels!
Our beautiful cake features patterns directly from the bride’s veil and beautifully handmade florals on the higher layers for a truly scrumptiously sweet memory for the newlyweds. We hope you’ll muse at these breathtaking images just as much as we are…enjoy!”
