Valerie and Matt’s South Seas Resort wedding in Captiva Island was simply STUNNING. From the captivating ocean views to the blush and peach floral wedding altar (you guys!! this altar gave me lifeee!), everything was executed perfectly and it turned out to be the most beautiful day!

Not a cloud in the sky as the couple got ready for their magical day. Valerie’s bridesmaids looked perfect in their blush pink dresses from Lulu’s , accessorized with their gorgeous matching bouquets designed by Floral Symphony. The bride’s pink and peach peony bouquet complimented her perfect floral altar and of course, she looked amazing in her Maggie Sottero wedding gown.

I love how Matt incorporated his duty as a marine crop into the ceremony. I know Valerie was so proud of her brand new hubby. He looked very GQ in his uniform along with his groomsmen. The others were dressed in modern navy suits that tied their wedding palette together flawlessly.

After the ceremony, they kicked off the reception outside amongst the salty breeze. I had to pick my jaw up from the floor after seeing the set up. Props to Cedar Watson from the Paper Goat Post, for pulling everything together. The tables were remarkable with their floral and driftwood centerpieces- totally appropriate for this oceanside wedding. I loved the “destination” touch with the luggage tags as the wedding favors.

As the bride and groom took their first dance, their loved ones looked on with so much joy. It’s such a privilege to be invited into these intimate moments time and time again. I really do become friends with my clients and get invested in their love stories; so much so that I’m usually tearing up behind the lens!

Congratulations Valerie and Matt. You guys are amazing and I heart you to pieces!! Here’s to wishing years and years, so many years of love and happiness!
