If there is one rule about love, it’s that there are no rules! When two are meant to be together, neither time nor space will interfere with destiny. Such is the love story of Manny and Liana.

They first met in 1994. Manny saw Liana across the room at a friend’s party and he was smitten.  From that moment on, a strong friendship evolved and as time passed- school, careers and life plans would separate them by distance but never from each other’s thoughts. When something great would happen in one of their lives, they would share with the other … from a distance … until one day that distance closed.

21 years after they first met, life would bring them back together and this time would be forever!

On a sunny Florida afternoon, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, a place which held a special place in their hearts and surrounded by their close friends and dear family, Manny and Liana said “I do!”  Mr. Arturo Sandoval played one of the most beautiful renditions of Ave Maria ever heard..there wasn’t a dry eye in the room.

Following the ceremony, the celebration continued with one of the largest and most Grande wedding receptions Tampa has ever seen! It took more than 6 months for the outstanding team at Grand Events to coordinate and set up the custom 20,000 sq. ft Pavilion in historic Ybor City for the over 1000 guests, who were all treated to an amazing time! The huge venue was filled from top to bottom with the most gorgeous and intricate floral arrangements by Andrea Layne Floral Design, authentic cuisine and delicious Pop Champagne accompanied the outstanding sounds of Grammy Winning recording artist Willy Chirino- who performed one killer concert for the bride and groom!

Manny and Liana partied into the night with those who mean the most to them – their close family and friends.  The wedding meant so much to so many, those who traveled great distances, those who shared memories… and for me, it meant a great deal on a personal level as well.  You see, I always get a little nervous when I photograph my friends and having known Liana for a couple decades now, this was definitely the case. As a friend, it was a true honor to capture this wonderful moment and to witness her joy and happiness up close! And for Manny, who I have also known for some time, it was great to get to know him better and learn what an awesome guy he is and why Liana adores him so. I could not be happier for both of them!

If you have the pleasure of knowing them, you know that they are both passionate, loud, a bit stubborn 😉 loving people with the biggest hearts! They adore their friends and family as deeply as they love each other and together they make one amazing couple!
