As we approached the entrance to the Rodman Plantation early on that Saturday morning, we could see everyone there was already busy making all the preparations for the upcoming celebration later that afternoon. Even though it was one of the hottest days of the year, Sue- L and Eric’s friends and family were smiling and laughing putting all the beautiful details together! By the time the guests started to arrive, the romantic country wedding vision they had planned for months and months had become a reality. From the handmade quilts that laid throughout the wedding that Sue-L’s grandmother made, to the handkerchiefs that were custom made for the Bride and Bride’s mom, everything and everyone there was filled with love and happiness for the couple.
As they prepared to marry their best friend, both the bride and groom were calm. As they got ready for their first look they were beaming with excitement. And as they said their vows to one another, you could just feel the love between them. Best friends and soulmates- doesn’t get much better than that.
Sue-L and Eric’s fun, sweet and adventurous personality is so enjoyable to be around and they really made us feel like part of the family on their big day. Two sweetest and kindest people out there are now Mr. and Mrs and we were SO honored to be part of their amazing day!
