Turning 15 is a major celebration in Hispanic culture. A “Quince” is the official day when you are no longer considered a girl but instead a young woman. You get to start wearing high heels and make-up and at 15 that’s a pretty big deal – so it calls for a big party! Thalia is a sweet and beautiful young lady who turned 15 last weekend and let me tell you- Her family knows how to throw a party!
I had a wonderful time meeting and hanging out with Thalia’s and her awesome family! Here’s a snippet of the day…
From flats to heels…

Thalia’s parents surprised her with an amazing dancing team called TexCali, who performed multiple Mexican folk dances.
