Many say “life is all about the details” and to be honest with you – so are weddings. I mean really, on your most important of days, this cannot be understated. But fear not, whether you are detail challenged or obsessed, here’s a simple tip that can help make sure your details are captured in the best way possible without leaving any of them out.
Now let’s think… details are everywhere on your wedding day and sometimes that is the problem itself – they are everywhere. Shoes are in your suitcase, rings are with the bearers and your grandmother’s broach is still neatly wrapped in your purse…somewhere.
TIP: By putting all the important things you want photographed in one designated container, you ensure there will not be the added stress of scrambling for your garter, searching for misplaced jewelry or overlooking heirlooms when your photographer arrives to your dressing room. * Your shoe box works as a great place to put all these items because it’s an easy thing to just hand over.
So what should be included in the box?
*
Your Shoes…
All the jewelry you will be wearing that day…
Invitation Set…
Your Veil…
Other things to have in your box or handy for your photographer are:
Garter
Your complete invitation set
Any special mementos or family heirlooms
Perfume bottle
All jewelry
Purses or bridesmaids gifts
Your dress (and any custom hangers)
Wedding dress belt
Loose florals from that match your bouquet (ask your florist- they usually have left overs!)
Bridesmaids dresses and shoes
Complete set of rings (his and hers)
Flower girl dress
…and anything else you may want included in your detail photographs!
