One of the most beautiful details you will have with you on your wedding day is your flower bouquet. This “accessory” will be up front and center in most of your pictures and will usually bring together the theme and colors of your big day. A great deal of thought is put into the selection of your bridal bouquet – the size and shape, the colors and style and how it will fit with your wedding dress and personality . So while all of your hard work went into creating these beautiful bouquets, coordinating their arrival often goes unthought-of.
I know what you are thinking; “Really? – like I would ever forget to coordinate flowers of all things!”…yet too often the flowers are lost in the shuffle of the day arriving to your venue or ceremony, while you are miles away at your hotel suite getting beautified. But no worries! Here are some tips on how to make the best arrangements for your arrangements (Ha! I just crack myself up I tell ya! 😉 )
TIPS
1. Flowers should always be delivered to the area where you are getting ready! – This will ensure they are readily accessible for photographing along with all your other details – plus, more importantly available for your bridal portraits.

2. If delivered in packaging, please keep in this original container until after imaged! This is great for some artistic shots and provides a great counterbalance to the pics as well as keeping your bouquets preserved until ready to show them off to world.
3. Make sure that each of your bridesmaids is responsible for their own bouquet! This is important because flowers will be used pre, during and post ceremony, and “I Do” believe you will have more important things on your mind that keeping tabs on all floras (I’m on a roll today! lol)
4. Wait to pin boutonnieres until the time of portraits! This makes sure that they are applied correctly and remain fresh and vibrant on your handsome gentlemen, as well as capturing that special moment your groom’s mom or dad will help pin their son with a proud smile (or tear) on their face.
